Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully before using the I Maps app or website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the I Maps app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use I Maps.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use I Maps. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Accounts
I Maps offers accounts for the general public (to discover and review places) and accounts for stores/businesses (to manage a place listing, including subscription features described in Section 7). You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. User Content and License
You retain ownership of the reviews, ratings, comments, photos, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant I Maps a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it in connection with operating and promoting the service. As described in our Privacy Policy, User Content is public by default and may remain visible to others even after you edit or delete the original.
5. Prohibited Conduct
When using I Maps, you agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes others' rights.
- Post fake, manipulated, or paid reviews intended to mislead other users.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from I Maps by automated means without permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the security or operation of the service.
6. Content Moderation
We may review, and remove or restrict, content that violates these terms or applicable law. We may also suspend or terminate accounts responsible for such violations.
7. Subscriptions (Store Accounts)
Store/business accounts may purchase subscription features through the app store's in-app purchase system, on either iOS or Android. These purchases are governed by the terms of the platform you purchased through, in addition to these Terms of Use:
- App Store (iOS): Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
- Google Play (Android): Google's Google Play Terms of Service.
These platform terms cover pricing, billing, auto-renewal, and cancellation. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings, depending on where the purchase was made.
8. Intellectual Property
The I Maps name, logo, app, and website (excluding User Content) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you. Ownership of User Content remains with you, as described in Section 4.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
I Maps is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are committed to applying up-to-date technology and information security measures — including HTTPS/TLS security protocols and database encryption — to protect users' personal data. In cases of force majeure beyond our reasonable control (national internet infrastructure incidents, or large-scale cyberattacks exceeding ordinary defensive capability), we will make our best efforts to work with relevant parties to remediate and restore data, but are exempt from all liability for indirect damages or lost revenue suffered by users.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may stop using I Maps and delete your account at any time — see our data deletion guide.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of I Maps will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Đà Nẵng, Vietnam.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service or legal requirements. When we do, we will update this page. Your continued use of I Maps after an update means you accept the revised terms.
